Widgets
Widgets are the cornerstone of the dashboarding functionality within TradeMemoir.
The dashboards in TradeMemoir allow you to create your own by selecting widgets from an extensive list. This enables you to customize your dashboard, providing the insights you need to evaluate your trading performance.
Adding a widget
To add a widget to a dashboard, go to the specific dashboard details page of the given dashboard.
This can be done by first navigating to the "Dashboards" section in the side menu. This will open the dashboards overview page. By pressing the "View" button for the given dashboard, you will open the dashboard details page.

On this page, press the "Adjust Widgets" button to modify your widgets. Then, press the "Add Widget" button to open a new form.

In the form, select the widget you want to add. After pressing "Next," the specific settings for the chosen widget type will be requested. Additionally a label can be configured.

Adjusting a widget
An existing widget can be modified by first pressing the "Adjust Widgets" button on the dashboard details page.

This allows you to change the position of your widget. Additionally, from this screen, the widget itself can be modified. To do this, press the Pencil icon. A modal will open where the specific widget settings can be adjusted.
Removing a widget
An unwanted widget can be removed by first pressing the "Adjust Widgets" button on the dashboard details page.

This enables you to press the Trash Bin icon on the specific widget. After confirming the removal request, the widget will be deleted.

Accumulative Profit

This widget visualizes the accumulative profit (or loss) over a specified time period for the configured journal. The base currency of the configured journal is used as the Y-axis.

Hit Rate

This widget visualizes the hit rate of all trades in a specific journal. The hit rate is calculated as the percentage of trade plans that turned into active trades, divided by the total number of trades, over the specified time period.
This widget helps determine how often your trades are activated and indicates whether you correctly identify your entry points for your trades.

Win Rate

This widget visualizes the hit rate of all trades in a specific journal. The hit rate is calculated as the percentage of trades with a positive PnL (Profit and Loss) value, divided by the total number of active trades, over the specified time period.
This widget helps to indicate the quality of your trades. A low number suggests that you are capturing too few high-quality trades. successful trades are essential to offset losing trades.
